When your friend also becomes your client, it’s so fun to see those two worlds collide! I met Emilee through Micala Quinn’s program all about how to become a freelancer. We even participated in a small group coaching program together and that’s when we really got to know each other. She is a working mama with young kids just like me, so we connected and love chatting about all things business and life. Emilee is THE Pinterest Queen 👑 and it’s been such a joy watching her business bloom over the last few years. (Fun Fact: When I was just starting out as a freelancer, I offered Pinterest management services to my clients. The platform has changed so much over the last few years, so now I feel like I know nothing about Pinterest, but Emilee knows it all!) When Emilee first came to me with the idea of setting up Kajabi, she had her courses on Membervault, but was looking to migrate over to Kajabi. The primary reason for the move was so that she could utilize all of the features Kajabi has to offer, like the ability to promote both live and paid webinars, host her courses and videos, and have a seamless checkout process without the need for Zapier. Emilee loved the idea of having fewer platforms that need to communicate back and forth because dealing with a breakdown in communication during a launch can be so stressful!

She also wanted to “wow” her students with beautiful, easy to navigate courses that provided a top-notch user experience.

With those goals in mind, we set out to migrate her courses from Membervault over to Kajabi! Emilee had some additional Kajabi projects, like a webinar registration page and evergreen webinar that we also set up, so we did multiple VIP Days together, but this blog post focuses on the set up of her signature course, The Pinterest System for Sales.

What We Accomplished:

✔️ Set up the course product & uploaded all the video and PDF content

✔️ Matched the Kajabi premier theme to her branding

✔️ Set up the checkout page & matched to her branding

✔️ Set up the custom subdomain

✔️ Customized the login & library pages to match her branding

✔️ Connected Kajabi to ActiveCampaign for her welcome email sequence
